The Incident
On 21st march 2024 an emergency call was received by Everest Flight Nepal from the Near Gosaikunda Lake. A group of 03 trekkers, including 01 locals Guide and 02 foreign nationals, had encountered a medical emergency at an altitude of [4380 Meters.] They had problem with altitude sickness, a bit injured in the leg and weather conditions was also so bad with lot of snow falls.
The trekkers were stranded in a remote location with no immediate access to medical facilities. The situation was critical as time was of the essence.
The Rescue Mission
Everest Flight Nepal immediately mobilized its rescue team and deployed a state-of-the-art helicopter equipped for high-altitude operations. The rescue pilot, Bibek, a highly experienced aviator with extensive knowledge of the region, took command of the rescue mission.
